The rapid changes in the field of Computer Science Engineering & Information Technology necessitate adapting to the continual change and this is a challenge that the department faces. The department has an experienced and dedicated team of faculty members who work towards creating an academic-industrial environment through continuous interaction with the Industry.

The Department is provided with seven separate well-planned labs equipped with high-end servers. The computer labs are air-conditioned and equipped with more than 450 latest Pentium IV / Core2Duo systems.

The department also organizes special courses on J2EE, DOT Net Technology and Software Testing Tools in addition to the regular academic stream
