Electronics and Communication forms the foundation for other disciplines like Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology. Electronics and Communication provides the students with a scientific and technical background and research capabilities in the design, development, manufacturing of electronic devices and communication systems used in a wide range of applications ranging from household appliances to the most sophisticated satellite systems.

The department has faculty members with specializations in Signal processing, Communications, Digital Systems and VLSI Design. The Department is provided with an exclusive Computer Centre along with well-equipped laboratories. Well trained Instructors and state-of-the-art equipment and machinery help the faculty and students to carry on their practical and research work in a favourable environment.
